Fasting for 2024!

Please Join us from January 12-19 as we fast as a church for God's will and direction in our lives individually and as a church.  There are many ways to fast, but the big idea is to give something up so that we can gain a closer relationship with the Lord!

Sermon series on ephesians

On Friday, January 26, we will be starting a brand new sermon series on the book of Ephesians.  Written by the apostle Paul from prison, he writes this letters to believers in order to show that Jesus is supreme over all difficulties and demonic attacks that believers face and how to walk in a way worthy of the gospel.  Please join us every Friday at 10am for this exciting series!

Jesus at the center

Jesus is central to everything we do. We sing, pray, and preach in His powerful name. Our past, present, and future are centered on Jesus Christ. Our purpose on this earth is to make much of Jesus Christ.

“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”

Colossians 1:16-17

It's all about Jesus!

Created to worship

Worship is essential to God’s plan of redemption and provides a strategic avenue for God’s entry into an alienated world. An illustration of this is found in the Lord’s Prayer, which begins with worship: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.” Then, it extends the invitation “…Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:9, 10). When we pray in the manner that Jesus taught His disciples, we are first, with worship, reaching into the invisible realm and then, on the grounds of our worship, welcoming the entry of His divine authority, rulership, and power into this world.

At Crossroad, we believe that a natural reflection of our love for God is worship. This doesn't just happen during our services through singing but instead it is lived out by the way we perform our job, how we love our family, by showing compassion to the outcast and even the things we say in casual conversations.

Worship should invade every aspect of our lives.
